life lately // March & April

April 20, 2016

Hiii I am aliiive! I'm a horrible blogger. I feel bad that every time I post a life update, it always starts with "sorry I've been away for xx days/weeks" or something along those lines. I'm trying my best to get back to updating regularly, I really am! But it's easier said than done _(:3」∠)_ That aside, the past month has been quite eventful (four events within the span of 30 days counts as eventful for me, yes) so I have a lot to talk about!

Sometime mid-March, I went on a drive with Aian's family for his dad's birthday. We went all the way to Tagaytay.. to get Yellow Cab Pizza, haha.

Around two weeks ago, Aian and I went to see the live screening of Day 1 of μ's Final Love Live! 〜μ'sic Forever♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪〜 at SM Megamall. ALMOST 6 HOURS OF FEELS, MAN. It was amaaazing and I cried like a baby throughout the whole thing. The highlight of last month, definitely. (I want to tell you all about my ~*~feelings~*~ from that day but it would be too much for this post, so I'll write a separate entry for it soon!)

Our friend Xandra was back in the country for a short while, so Aian and I met up with her before she went back to Japan. We met up at ATC and had lunch at 8 Cuts Burger Blends. It was my first time there, and I really liked it. (More than the burgers though, what I liked most was their skinny fries! So good, tastes like Piknik!) After that we went around ATC a bit, tried our luck with a LoveLive! gacha (I got Nico and Xandra got Maki, but we switched heheh), then went to Xandra's house. Her room = anime bae paradise. Look at all those husbandos! Being in Xandra's room always makes me happy. We spent the rest of the day watching visual kei stuff and playing this card game called Exploding Kittens. It was really fun~~ (*´꒳`*)

Dropped by Summer Komikon last Saturday, to meet up with friends. I'm the type that doesn't buy something unless I really like it, so I usually don't buy anything during Komikon, but this time there was a lot of stuff that caught my attention. Clockwise: girls by Pejie Abia, split-face girl by Pat Frades, Totoro and No-Face stickers (didn't catch the name of the artist, sorry ;__;), and even more girls by KITA*coughyesIlikecutegirlscough*

Speaking of purchases, these are my most recent ones: Sunny Day Song Maki (from when we met with Xandra!), Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Mischievous, and a couple of Kenma rubber straps that I got from Xandra as well. I've been trying to cut back on purchases lately, as I'm still in the process of letting go of clothes and makeup that I don't use (read: trying to KonMari but failing). The only reason why I got the Matte Balm was because I've been looking for a nice summer color similar to MAC's Sushi Kiss, which I've been wanting to get for years now. I read somewhere that Mischievous was a close dupe for Sushi Kiss, so when I saw someone selling it secondhand for less than half the price, I just went for it. Am I happy with it? I don't know yet. It's probably because I'm more of a lip tint person, but maybe I just need some time to get used to it. Really pretty though.

Speaking of even more purchases, I recently bought these costumes for my FM baby on Blade and Soul. No real money was spent though! I bought everything with gold made by grinding in-game. Took me a few days, but it was worth it. Look at my pretty girl with her ribbon choker _(┐「ε:)_

And, last but not least, the thing that's been keeping us busy these days—cat life! These three tiny demon kitties are now 2+ months old, and are growing cuter with each passing day. As to whether or not we'll be having them adopted, I think it's been (more or less) decided that we won't. We've become way too attached to all three, and seeing them doing things together all the time makes me think that the only way I'll be happy with having them adopted is if I find someone decides to take all three.. which is kind of impossible. So with that, they'll be staying with us. I can't imagine how our life's going to be in the future, especially with six cats, but we'll try our best to raise all of them well ♥

That's it for this edition of Life Lately! With this LL post and the previous one, I've stopped doing Taking Stock lists. You know, those little lists I usually do after each Life Lately post. I wanted to do that today, as I really enjoy doing them, but it feels like I made this post too long already. Next time! Hopefully this time around, the next time I post won't be after one whole month..
