Tiara by Tracy Dizon Kawaii Mini Tea & Cupcake Party - Second Serving

March 15, 2014

A very overdue recap of Tiara by Tracy Dizon Kawaii Mini Tea & Cupcake Party - Second Serving, which happened November 30, 2013. I meant to post these before the end of 2013, but I've been so caught up in a whirlwind of things since December of last year, I've only been able to sort through my backlog now. As I mentioned before, during the first TTD Party I went as a guest, this time I was invited by Miss Tracy as a photographer of sorts, taking photos of all the pretty girls during the event. I was only able to get a few photos, sadly. I was so busy running around trying to take photos that I didn't notice the time. A lot of the attendees were friends from the kawaii community, so that made the experience so much easier. I wish I could've taken everyone's photos! Next time. (On the third round, maybe?)

The event was so fun! It was quite relaxed, much like a gathering between good friends. Even in the midst of doing photographer duties, I was able to chat a bit and enjoy the yummy cupcakes with all my pretty friends. Everyone who attended shared ideas and stories about Japanese fashion and kawaii culture. Though we weren't able to have a purikura session afterwards (sadly, the purikura booths in SM North had already closed down), we were able to take photos using Instax cameras. We each also got to take home a goodie bag, generously sponsored by Fujifilm Instax, Daiso Japan, CANMAKE Tokyo, AvantGarde Japan, Harajuku Press, TimeOutTokyo, and by Miss Tracy herself. Of course, I was able to meet a lot of new people and make a lot of new friends as well. That is, after all, one of the reasons why the TTD Mini Tea & Cupcake Party exists - to bring together Filipina kawaii culture enthusiasts, and to spread the kawaii culture in Manila ♥
