Has anyone noticed something different about the photos above? Is it my hair? No? Did I get a bit thinner over the holidays? Yeah, right. Like that would ever happen. Then what is it..? Hint: I'm wearing something that I've never worn in this blog. Ever. Not even once!

The answer is pretty obvious, I know, but I still can't believe it myself-- I'm actually wearing a watch! On my wrist! The last time I wore a watch on my wrist was around two years ago, I think. (This is a first for me, in a way, so I'm super stoked about it. Haha!) The lovely red watch above is from Veloci, an Italian-inspired watch collection that's been released just recently. I was given one of their pieces to style according to my own personal tastes, and I'm quite excited! I know a lot of people don't wear watches, but it's amazing what one statement accessory such as a watch can do for your outfit. To give you an idea of what I'm talking about, take the outfit above. And then look at it from this post. Adding a statement piece and tweaking a few things gave it a whole different feel. Amazing, right?

I'll be thinking up ways to wear the watch three different ways (as it came with three different straps!), so please watch out for that! (Is that a pun? Haha!) In the meantime, you may like these pages for more information about Veloci watches: L Timestudio + Asprey
