EOS Puffy 3 Tone Grey *

June 22, 2012

Hello everyone! Finally found the time to make another review post. Today's circle lens review is sponsored by UNIQSO, an online store selling quality big eyes colored contact lenses & circle lenses. The lenses that I was sent, EOS Puffy 3 Tone Grey, have been in my to-try list for the longest time, which is why I was so glad that UNIQSO sent me these~ * u *

These were sent to me around February. Sadly though, when I decided to try them on around a month or so after, one of the lenses turned out to be defective, so I had to dispose of them. UNIQSO was so kind enough to send me a replacement pair though, and they arrived pretty quickly, too! After which, these became my new favorite lenses. I used to wear my Princess Mimi Sesame Greys all the time, but I have been converted! Puffy 3 Tones are now my all-time favorite line of lenses.

The lenses up close. The color is more bluish-grey than true grey.

What the lenses look like when worn. Despite the 14.5mm diameter, they look really natural on the eyes.

When worn, with flash (and falsies!). Love, love how these lenses photograph with flash! Bluish-grey eyes! * u *

Okay, this is just me playing around now, lol~ (Also, notice how the color varies from the amount of flash, haha!)
Color & Design: ★★★★★
In love with the color and design of these lenses. Puffy 3 Tone lenses are pretty much my #1 now, design-wise, taking over the spot that Nudy lenses once held. I love how they look very natural on the eyes, even though the color is so far away from my real eye color. I think it's because the limbal ring is a very translucent grey instead of the usual thick black ring that you see in most circle lenses. I also love that the color and design (even the yellow ring at the center!) are very visible against my dark brown eyes.

Enlargement: ★★★★☆
Enlarging, but not as much as most lenses. These are 14.5mm, so they're smaller than most lenses that I've gotten used to, but that's not a problem. I actually think 14.5mm is perfect for this line of lenses.

Comfort: ★★★★☆
Comfortable, but tend to feel a bit dry after a few hours. (Maybe 5 or so?) Again, I'm pretty sure this is just because my eyes are more sensitive to EOS lenses than GEO's.

Overall: ★★★★★
Love, love these lenses!! I think I've gotten the most compliments with these than any other lenses that I've worn in the past. They look pretty natural, and I can wear just about any type of eyemake with them on. Definitely my new all-time favorite lenses. Getting another pair soon, just so I have a spare! * u *

A few reminders:
☆ You are best advised to consult your eye doctor before wearing any lenses. It is your responsibility to minimize the risk of wearing lenses. Kindly please read the wear & care guide carefully to ensure proper handling of lenses. The rule of thumb for eye safety is, if you experience any discomfort, remove the lens immediately.
☆ Though the lenses in this review were sponsored by UNIQSO, everything written here is 100% my honest opinion.
☆ All photos used in this review belong to me. Please do not take them without my permission!!

As a sidenote, I apologize (again, for the nth time) for not being able to review the items I'm being sent by all my lovely sponsors on time!! This one is a very much delayed review for UNIQSO, and I'm very grateful that they're very understanding about the whole delay ;; I'm not a beauty blogger, and I only enjoy wearing circle lenses and cosmetics, so I'm trying my best to make these reviews in my spare time. Please do bear with me! ;______; *bows*

Up next for review are: two lenses from my two lovely local sponsors, Dull to Doll and GWYShop
